Meet Sheryl Delozier

During her time in the State Legislature, Representative Sheryl Delozier has earned a reputation as a trusted leader who cuts through the partisan gridlock in Harrisburg to deliver real results for the people she was elected to represent.
Her hard work, dedication and determination has been recognized across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Last year alone, Representative Sheryl Delozier was named the “Government Leader of the Year” by the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC and received the Allegheny College “Prize for Civility in Public Life in Pennsylvania.” An active member of her community, Sheryl Delozier has advocated for rape and domestic violence victims in a variety of capacities for more than 25 years and has been a longtime volunteer for the Area M Special Olympics. In addition, State Representative Delozier was the prime sponsor and lead advocate for legislation creating the crime victims’ bill of rights under the Pennsylvania Constitution.

Sheryl also serves as a member of the Mechanicsburg and West Shore Chamber of Commerce, Mechanicsburg Rotary, Bethany Village Board of Directors , New Cumberland Woman’s Club and has been appointed by the Speaker of the House to serve on the board of directors of the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) and the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency.

State Representative Delozier, her husband and two children reside in Lower Allen Township. They attend St. Stephen Episcopal Cathedral, where Sheryl teaches Junior Achievement to the second grade at St. Stephen’s Cathedral School.
